I am proud to say I had the privilege of attending a Doors concert in Fresno when I was 14 or 15 years old. It was outdoors at the Fresno fairgrounds. Had I a vision of the future, I would have been paying more attention to the concert than the chicks that had flocked in.

I have lived in California all my life, actually only in two cities, Fresno and Yuba City, having moved to the latter in 1985. I have been married for15 years (this time) and have two daughters ages 11 and 14 who both know the lyrics to most of the Doors songs. I have been the Chief Financial Officer for a mechanical contracting firm since 1985.

My favorite Morrison quote is: "I wanna get my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames". I actually had a T-shirt made up saying this, giving Jim due credit of course.

My two favorite Doors songs are Crystal Ship and Roadhouse Blues. I have asked that Roadhouse Blues be played at my funeral.....and the thought just now struck me - why not Crystal Ship as well ... it's beautiful!
